The position is part of a newly established hospital-based violence intervention program (HVIP) at UVA Medical Center, aimed at preventing and reducing community and interpersonal violence among high-risk youth and adults. The role focuses on providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary services to address the underlying risks and social determinants of violence, while also delivering direct patient services such as needs assessments, mentorship, case management, and coordination with community services.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job may require standing or sitting for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping. Proficient verbal and written communication, auditory and visual skills.
