Position Title: Instructional Designer and Developer
Business Unit: Human Resources
Reports To: Supervisor of Instructional Design and Development

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for the design and development of online training, instructor led training and virtual instructor led training. The incumbent works with partners to support and determine learning solutions. The incumbent acts as subject matter expert on design and development and helps determine which tools are needed to drive learning.

Primary Responsibilities:
Designs learning content consistent with a formal instructional design methodology. Designs and develops creative, interactive and engaging content for online training, instructor led training and virtual instructor led training. Brings innovative and creative ideas to create learning solutions that drive talent development. Manages external vendors as needed to produce learning solutions.

Manages learning projects and collaborates with Learning Programs team and lines of business partners. Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather, analyze and organize content that will be designed and developed into learning content tailored to target audience. Determines and recommends which tools to utilize in driving learning and development.

Maintains existing training to incorporate updates and manage content. Measures and evaluates business impact and effectiveness of learning solutions.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

BA or BS

Experience with online training authoring tools, graphic production tools including video production, web design, LMS and applying instructional techniques in a corporate setting
