SUMMARY: Analyst - Business Development, will help identify, evaluate and support the implementation of revenue enhancing opportunities across our NGL and refined products terminal assets. This includes; analyzing commercial performance, merger and acquisition opportunities, IRR & EBITDA modeling, market trends and asset utilization related to terminals, pipeline, ship, barge, truck and railcar movements. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate data into insights that support decision making within the Business Development team. Primary Responsibilities: * Serve as a supporting point of contact for customers by helping gather requirements, address operational issues, assist with resolving commercial questions and contribute to strengthening overall customer relationships. * Support efforts to identify and engage prospective customers to develop new commercial partnerships and business opportunities. * Assist the Business Development team in preparing materials for contract negotiations, fee structures, amendments and commercial proposals. * Contribute to the evaluation of sustainability focused initiatives, including ethanol, biofuels, carbon capture and other emerging "green" opportunities. * Participate in due diligence activities related to potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A). * Prepare financial and operational analyses, including business cases and presentations for proposed commercial or capital projects. * Analyze facility utilization, throughput statistics and revenue data to help optimize use of terminal and pipeline assets. * Research and maintain competitor intelligence, including market trends, pricing and regional supply/demand dynamics. * Coordinate with Scheduling, Field Operations, Engineering and other internal groups to support project development, commercial initiatives and asset optimization efforts. * Support annual budgeting efforts by gathering data, performing variance analysis and preparing financial inputs. * Occasional overnight travel may be required. Required Skills Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree and a minimum 2-5 years' overall practical experience in business development including industry related experience. * Demonstrated and exemplary customer account management skills.
