What You'll Do:

  • Drive Product Vision: Set the strategy and roadmap for AI/ML-powered features, including smart assistants, yield predictions, recommendations, and proprietary recommendation models that differentiate our platform.
  • Translate Outcomes into ML-Backed Product Bets: Work with Data Science, Engineering, Design, Field Enablement, and Agronomy SMEs to turn agronomic and commercial objectives into actionable, ML-driven product initiatives.
  • Design for Multi-Modal Intelligence: Shape capabilities across chat, voice, forms, and emerging modalities, ensuring seamless and high-trust user experiences for crop consultants, growers, and operations teams.
  • Deliver Explainable AI: Champion transparency by embedding explainability, data freshness, and "why this?" logic into every recommendation and action.
  • Orchestrate End-to-End Automation: Connect insights to execution-automating prescription generation, order placement, dispatch, and integrations with minimal user friction.
  • Simplify Complex Workflows: Streamline financing, compliance, and operational processes, surfacing the right information and nudges at the right time.
  • Iterate with Users: Gather feedback from field teams and growers, using real-world insights to refine conversational and automation capabilities.
  • Ensure Responsible AI: Implement robust guardrails for privacy, bias, and compliance, and drive adoption of responsible AI practices throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 5-8+ years in product management with a track record of shipping data/ML features (A/B tests, cohort analysis, post-launch monitoring).
  • Proprietary Model Development: Experience designing, launching, and iterating on proprietary recommendation models or similar ML-driven features.
  • Experimentation Expertise: Strong skills in hypothesis framing, metrics design, guardrail definition, and experiment interpretation.
  • Technical Partnership: Proven ability to work closely with engineering, articulate model lifecycle and governance, and drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytics Literacy: Proficiency in SQL or equivalent analytics tools; ability to define and implement instrumentation for product telemetry.
  • Communication: Exceptional documentation and communication skills; able to translate complex ML concepts into actionable, plain-language narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Demonstrated ability to align and influence stakeholders, from field teams to executives, in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience with ag data (telemetry, imaging), geospatial, edge/offline environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $127,500 - $218,600, and in Chicago, IL, is between $121,500 - $208,200. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid vacation, sick days and holidays as well as paid personal and maternity/parental leaves and an Employee and Family Assistance Program. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
