Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: Civil Rights & Title IX Compl The Intake, Support and Informal Resolution Specialist reports to the Director, Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance/Deputy Title VI Coordinator in the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance (OCR). This person works with the Associate Vice President for Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance, Senior Director of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance,Civil Rights and Title IX Specialists, Director of ADA Compliance/ADA Coordinator, and campus and college officials handling materials of a confidential and/or sensitive nature. This position is a full-time, twelve-month staff position. The Intake, Support and Informal Resolution Specialist's primary duty is providing day-to-day management of reports of sexual violence, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation that are submitted by students, faculty, and staff. The Intake, Support and Informal Resolution Specialist conducts intake meetings with parties; arranges for provision of supportive measures; provides ongoing support to parties involved in OCR processes; assists with providing timely response to incoming reports; and conducts educational and informal resolutions of reports. This position requires in-depth knowledge of Title VI, Title IX, the Violence Against Women Act ("VAWA''), and equal employment opportunity laws, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act ("ADEA''), and other laws. The Intake, Support and Informal Resolution Specialist will also collaborate with campus offices and partners, including Center for Student Advocacy and Wellness (CSAW); University Police; Human Resources; Office of the Provost; Office of Community Standards (OCS); and Student Assistance and Support Services (SASS). Target hiring range for this position will be between $78,000-$85,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
