Security Officer - Credit Union Patrol

As a Security Officer - Credit Union Patrol in Macon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, assist visitors and employees with professionalism, and document observations for the site team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the building perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing clear directions to visitors and employees and contacting Allied Universal supervision and/or local responders when needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant updates during post assignments and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
