About the Opportunity:

Washington County's District Attorney's Office is currently seeking a Management Analyst I to join the team!

The Management Analyst I on the Data Integrity Team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical data utilized by the District Attorney's Office. This role focuses on data integration and quality assurance by aggregating and normalizing information from Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), Jail Management System (JMS) booking data, and other sources to support internal process improvements. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance with court mandates through daily analytics, updating the case management system, and notifying others of required actions. The analyst designs and maintains Excel-based dashboards and dynamic summary reports with embedded hyperlinks, which are used in daily workflows and provide valuable insights to attorneys and leadership. Additional duties include supporting technical operations by managing Tableau access and licenses, coordinating IT service requests, and troubleshooting user issues. The analyst develops Excel-based queries and applies hierarchical decision logic to identify, cleanse, and validate data anomalies. They prepare, format, and distribute reports in accordance with established protocols and stakeholder requirements. In addition to these responsibilities, the Management Analyst I serves as a backup for other Senior Legal Specialists on the Data Integrity Team by retrieving reports from record management systems, entering case data into the case management system, and processing court orders and judgments.

All DA's Office employees are exposed to sensitive case-related materials. Employees may see and overhear difficult content, including police reports, crime scene photos, body worn camera footage, and 911 calls. Members of the Data Integrity Team frequently read police reports about traumatic incidents including violent crimes, child abuse, sexual assaults, animal abuse, and homicides.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with advanced critical thinking skills and a strong commitment to accuracy. They have experience working with data in a legal or criminal justice setting and are comfortable interpreting information to support informed decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and dashboard development is essential, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.

This position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and management in an extremely fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate excels at multi-tasking, adapting to shifting priorities, and maintaining composure under pressure. They demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative setting while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; OR
  • Associate's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; ANDtwo (2) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, financial, or similar analysis; OR
  • Four (4) years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses.
