This fully remote role plays a critical part in supporting our cloud-based infrastructure and development operations. You'll work closely with Scrum teams to streamline the software development lifecycle-designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and optimizing infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Job Requirements: Is This You?
- Education: BA/BS (4-year degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role within a professional development environment. Proven experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework, required.
- Cloud Environment: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (CloudFormation, Security, Cost Explorer, etc.), including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and ECS/EKS, required. AWS certification is a plus.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with IaC tooling such as Terraform (IaC), required.
- CI/CD: Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI (Github (Actions, Copilot, etc.), or AWS CodePipeline, required.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Kubernetes (Docker, EKS, Helm, etc.) and a container orchestration platform, required.
- Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, required.
- Monitoring: Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK Stack), required.
- Project Management Tools: Experience managing work in a toolset such as Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), required.
- Static, Dynamic, Security code analysis tooling
- Skills:
- Strong ability to define solutions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage and execute multiple priorities.
