Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Project Coordinator II for the Department of Psychology within the School of Arts and Sciences.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Assists with the management and overseeing the daily operations of federally funded research projects.
  • Organizes and oversees data collection, data entry, and checking.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of all protocols.
  • Recruits and serves as liaison for all study staff.
  • Conducts literature searches and collecting scientifically and empirically supported relevant data to assist in manuscript writing, grant submissions, and conference presentations.
  • Documents work performed and will have proficiency in tools currently used in the lab (e.g., Monday, Slack, Canva), as well as have oversight into new tools that can be used and new ways expand the functionality of existing tools.
  • Maintains and Keeps the workplace and laboratory organized by following established procedures.
  • Trains and leads students and post-bac RAs through research methodologies.
  • Completes work under direct supervision from the PI, with specific instructions on routine or semi-routine work.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in a scientific field (ideally psychology) and a minimum of two years research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have a sound understanding of applications of the type of research done in the lab.
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Applicants interested in pursuing doctorate degrees in clinical psychology are encouraged to apply.
