Job Description:

Description
The Test Technician is responsible for executing test procedures, troubleshooting issues, validating product performance, and supporting engineering teams in the development, qualification, and production of hardware or systems. This role ensures products meet defined specifications through accurate test execution, data collection, and documentation. Night Time Shift hours - Sunday night to Friday morning - 12am (midnight) to 8:30am.
Responsibilities

Supports engineering testing of electronic modules using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) either manually or with an automated handler including setup of the equipment, data collection, tear-down of the setup. Performs minor troubleshooting of test setups using diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and other specialized test equipment.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Must have two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with bench test equipment: multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies.
  • Knowledge and experience with turret and pick-and-place handlers.
  • Ability to understand schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with MS-Office, Windows OS, and Linux OS.
  • Ability to interpret data with a basic understanding of voltage, current, power.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must have a team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience with ATE, Cohu PAx-RF and Advantest V93000-RF desired.


The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $29.86 - $52.02 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
