Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to Generate standard or custom environmental, health and safety data reports for review by cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Identify improvement opportunities for existing applications and propose solutions to address ongoing and future needs as they arise. Deploy innovative solutions to dashboards and calendars to drive higher compliance. Integrate with other systems, including those used for space planning, equipment preventive maintenance, and laboratory material inventory tracking. Collaborate with different groups, including Information Technology and Human Resources to better utilize company data. Drive standardization of procedures to improve process reliability and efficiency. Review and analyze data for trends and report results. Provide streamlined business analytics data reporting & process improvement initiatives. Automate existing business analytics processes and reporting, utilizing tools like PowerBI to create and deliver business analytics reports and communications.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related Data Analyst or Reporting role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related Data Analyst or Reporting role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires experience in the following:

  • Utilizing analytics tools and dashboards to conduct data analysis and generate reporting;
  • Accessing and manipulating multivariate data using SQL;
  • Building data visualizations (tables or dashboards) with PowerBI;
  • Developing and managing internal websites using MS SharePoint;
  • Identifying and developing new metrics for standardized reporting;
  • C, C++, or Python;
  • MS SQL Server; and
  • Data Structures and ETL.

Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship, and/or work experience.
