Pay: $21 per hour

Key Duties:

• Coordinate and lead activities daily under the direction of Household Goods management.
• Lead the Household Goods staff by providing instructions and assistance.
• With the guidance of the Supervisor, conduct general staff training.
• Ensure staff are compliant with company policies and safety policies.
• Prepare appropriate documentation needed for the move of the customer's household goods.
• Lead the packaging, removal, and loading of customers' goods.
• Effective communication by email or phone in Japanese and/ or English with associates and customers.
• Interact with customers and outside moving subcontractors.
• Assist in inventory control.
• Participate in implementing work schedules and ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively.
• Discuss and resolve issues and report to management.
• Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle other job assignments as determined by the direct Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Japanese (spoken and understood) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ years of experience in the moving industry.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate directions to the household goods team in a professional manner.
• Ability to work overtime to meet the customer needs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good computer skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Able to lift 50 - 75 lbs.
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects in a warehouse setting.
