As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support staff and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service, and document activities as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance and coordinating with site leadership and local first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including corridors, entrances, parking areas, and exterior grounds; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management activities such as greeting, providing directions, and supporting sign-in and/or badge processes according to site policy.
• Observe for unusual activity and conditions that could help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or disorderly conduct, and report findings per post orders.
• Complete security-related reports and logs for incidents, patrol activity, and notable events, and communicate updates during shift turnover.
• Support patient and staff assistance requests such as wayfinding, escorting within the location when directed, and helping to manage lines and foot traffic during peak times.
• Operate site equipment as assigned, which may include radios, access control systems, and cameras, and notify appropriate personnel of alarms and/or equipment concerns.
• Assist with de-escalation of conflicts using verbal techniques and follow site procedures for behavioral health and/or high-stress encounters.
• Comply with HIPAA-related expectations by limiting discussion of private information and maintaining professional conduct while performing post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
