Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
  • Monitor and document entry and exit activity to help to deter unauthorized access within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and responding to requests from personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
