Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver customer service with integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, authorizations, and visitor purpose in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems as assigned and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
  • Complete detailed written reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, including the use of electronic reporting tools when assigned.
  • Participate in shift briefings, post orders updates, and site-specific training required by Allied Universal and/or the location.
  • Provide directions and general assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols in varying indoor and outdoor environments, including around heavy equipment and high-traffic operational areas, as required by the location.
  • Support investigations by preserving observations, maintaining chain of communication, and cooperating with site management and/or responding authorities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
