Senior Financial Analyst - Client Finance Team - JLL

What this job involves:

As a Senior Financial Analyst on JLL's Client Finance team, you'll play a critical role in managing complex financial operations for our diverse client portfolio while driving strategic financial insights that enhance client relationships and operational excellence. This position combines hands-on financial management with analytical expertise, focusing on utility bill processing, month-end closing procedures, and comprehensive financial reporting. You'll serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring accurate financial processes while identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on client satisfaction and JLL's financial operations while developing expertise in commercial real estate financial management and utility operations within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Process and manage client funding requests and payment groups using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), ensuring timely and accurate execution of financial transactions

* Execute comprehensive month-end closing procedures for assigned E1 general ledger companies, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and accuracy standards

* Conduct detailed analytical work to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities across client portfolios, translating findings into actionable recommendations

* Collaborate closely with Budgeting and Forecasting teams to ensure alignment between actual utility expenses and budgeted amounts, facilitating accurate financial planning

* Reconcile utility accounts and proactively resolve discrepancies, maintaining clear documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders

* Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on utility spending and consumption patterns for both client-facing discussions and internal stakeholder reviews

* Respond to complex client inquiries with professionalism and expertise, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining strong client relationships

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong academic foundation in financial principles

* 3-4 years of hands-on experience in general ledger management and accounts payable operations, preferably in a corporate or client service environment

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula and data analysis capabilities, plus experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience strongly preferred)

* Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends

* Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under pressure

* Self-starter mentality with curious nature and genuine desire to make a measurable difference through high-quality work

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of utility industry practices, billing structures, and energy management concepts

* Experience in commercial real estate or property management financial operations

* Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and data visualization techniques

* Familiarity with financial reporting and presentation software beyond standard Microsoft Office suite

* Experience working in client-facing roles or professional services environment

* Background in process improvement initiatives or lean methodology applications

* Professional certification or coursework in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA, CFA, or similar credentials in progress)

Estimated compensation for this position:

93,500.00 - 105,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
