About the role

Leads complex, high-impact organizational change management initiatives that drive successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies for clients. This role combines project management skills with change management expertise, training leadership, and client relationship management to ensure change management and training tracks within software implementation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with strong stakeholder engagement. Additionally, the position plays a key role in supporting business development through consultative selling and strategic partnership building.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Relationship Management
    • Partner with sales team and engagement directors to lead sales pitches and articulate the value of change management and training services.
    • Seek out engagement opportunities with clients who stand to benefit from OCM and end user training.
    • Strengthen the knowledge base of engagement directors and project managers in the Services organization, enabling them to effectively articulate and advocate for the value of our solutions to clients.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for expanded services.
    • Negotiate scope and manage change requests through formal processes to prevent scope creep.
  • Project Leadership & Delivery
    • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for change management and end user training delivery within the scope of software implementation.
    • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
    • Oversee execution of all project phases, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and contractual commitments.
    • Maintain projects, opportunities, and assignments in Salesforce.
  • Change Management Strategy
    • Design and implement change management strategies that align with unique client goals and organizational priorities.
    • Integrate change activities into project plans to drive readiness and minimize resistance.
    • Monitor adoption metrics and adjust strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Oversight
    • Lead and mentor a team of change management consultants who develop training materials and serve as primary client contacts.
    • Provide strategic direction, remove barriers, and ensure alignment with project objectives and organizational standards.
    • Foster accountability and collaboration using tools such as Asana for visibility and progress tracking.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
    • Serve as the senior escalation point for client stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust throughout the change process.
    • Guide communication strategies and support the team in managing client expectations effectively.
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project timelines and deliverables.
    • Proactively resolve issues to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in education, technical or supply chain field
  • 5 or more years of experience in consulting services setting, education/training, change management, project implementation, supply chain or equivalent demonstrable skills.
  • 25%-50% travel required

Preferred skills and experience

  • Proficient with Manhattan products and other software, including WMOS (OpenSystems), WMiS (iSeries), SCALE, TMS, Use of VMWare, and all Microsoft applications.
