KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Asset Management to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day processes and procedures to support ongoing operations of ITAM Asset Management for a portfolio of vendors; oversee a team of associate or senior associate level asset managers
  • Participate in development of the overall strategy and governance of IT Asset Management program focused on oversight, planning, and management of the physical, financial, and contractual aspects of the firm's technology hardware and software assets
  • Execute agreed strategic direction for IT Asset Management while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Accountable for designing, planning and implementing projects/improvement opportunities/business requirements in support of achieving ITAM strategies and work closely with technology stakeholders to ensure required technology assets are available for use when needed in an efficient, consistent, and cost-effective manner
  • Effectively manage the ITAM operations function and align activities to incorporate goals and planned projects, and more while leading a virtual team that will operate and optimize technology order, fulfillment, and inventory processes
  • Contribute to the IT Asset Management business case and ensure alignment with strategy * Identify and implement opportunities for new procedures or procedural clarification to support consistent and timely asset management. Manage relationships with key vendors to drive efficiencies and additional value
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent in-depth use and experience in IT Asset Management Lifecycle, managing all activities that support internal/ external clients
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Industry Certifications preferred: ITIL V3, IAITAM Certifications (including: CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAM), PMP, Lean Six Sigma; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience implementing cost take out opportunities for software and hardware
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; and foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
