Overview

SCCI is seeking a Program Analyst III to support our H40 BMS Technical Services management team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Program Manager and fellow Program Analysts on facilitating and tracking the delivery of our technical services to empower proper and timely communication across the team. Full engagement with the technical team leaders includes communications and strategic awareness across systems engineers, software developers, hardware developers, testers, trainers, logisticians, and a team of configuration management specialists. This is an onsite position located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Engaging with team leaders and staff to empower

    • Team building and proposing approaches to address emergent challenge
    • Identifying training to support our staff in filling capability gaps on projects
    • Planning recurring collaboration sessions
    • Documenting and sharing successes across the team
    • Reviewing execution and onboarding frameworks to identify areas for improvement


  • Designing frameworks and preparing and reviewing documentation reflecting technical team execution to convey to the PM on a recurring basis
  • Engage productively across technical teams to include systems engineers, software developers, hardware developers, testers, trainers, logisticians, and a team of configuration management specialists to accurately document status and risks
  • Assist our management team in monitoring the execution and staff reported resource allocations
  • Developing analysis and light weight data collection approaches to aggregate execution metrics throughout the periods of performance in support of surveillance and reporting requirements

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelors degree and/or accredited training in program/project strategic oversight and operations guidance
  • Five (5) years of experience in analyzing, automating, and evaluating the effectiveness of technical team operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives of a DoD weapon system program
  • Demonstrated success in communicating and collecting requirements and data across teams supporting multiple disciplines such as Engineering, Configuration Management, Testing, Software Development, and Training teams supporting a weapon system program
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and interface professionally with Government agencies, Contractors, and Military Personnel
  • Professional experience operating effectively within cross-functional teams and groups working toward established goals and schedules
  • Experience with Life-Cycle cost analyses and cost benefit evaluation of team level decisions on operations
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to learn new tools, technical system configurations, and processes quickly
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with high proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
