One full-time position (40 hours per week) | M-F 9:15 am - 6:15 pm, rotating Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Pharmacy Customer Service Representative I (PCSR I) contributes to the organization's overall goal to develop and sustain pharmacy services for patients. The PCSR I works as part of a team that provides support for OneWorld's pharmaceutical programs. The PCSR I collects patient fees, directs patients to the proper financial and medication assistance programs, and answers general questions regarding pharmacy programs. The PCSR I contributes to maintaining a cooperative work environment and provides assistance in administrative support.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nebraska preferred; license eligibility required.
  • One or more years of cash handling experience in a work environment required.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and internet usage required.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
  • Effective communications skills (verbal and written) required.
  • Demonstrated math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division along with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, while exhibiting a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, with a high attention to detail and strong trouble-shooting/follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, balancing responsibilities and work projects with minimal direction, but also function well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding and awareness of assistance programs, community resources, and the needs of low-income and medically underserved populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups in a coordinating role.
