About the Hiring Group

RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS), a business unit of RTI International, is an independent and internationally recognized research organization. We provide healthcare consulting and research expertise to optimize decision-making for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device products across the development and marketing life cycle. Clients rely on our expertise, quality standards, and integrity to guide their product development and regulatory and market access strategies. Our service groupings include Value, Access, and HEOR; Patient-Centered and Outcomes Research; Epidemiology and Biostatistics; Medical Communications; Global Business Operations; and Strategic Consulting and Growth. RTI-HS has office locations in the US, UK, Spain, France, and Sweden.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening RTI-HS's quality culture. In this role, you will help ensure our work consistently meets internal standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations, supporting both regulated and non-regulated research activities.

In this role, you will do more than ensure compliance, you will help protect the integrity of research that shapes real-world healthcare decisions. As a Quality Assurance Auditor at RTI Health Solutions, you will partner closely with researchers and project teams, gain exposure to diverse global studies, and build deep expertise across the full quality lifecycle. You will be a trusted advisor in an organization where quality, ethics, and scientific rigor are core to the mission, and where your work has meaningful impact on patient outcomes worldwide.


What You'll Do

You will:

  • Provide expert guidance on policies, regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance across projects and functions.
  • Partner closely with operating teams to assess processes, identify risks, and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Lead and support audit and inspection readiness, including preparation, execution, and resolution of findings.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external auditors, inspectors, and oversight bodies throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections (including GCP and non-regulated documentation).
  • Track, manage, and close corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Review and support project documentation and validated systems.
  • Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), QA policies, and related documentation.
  • Write audit plans and reports and support proposal review activities.
  • Coordinate legal requests related to government investigations or litigation, as needed.
  • Identify training needs and organize or deliver training to promote consistent, high-quality practices.
  • Stay current on evolving regulations, guidance, and industry best practices.
  • Help foster consistent quality standards globally while enabling best-practice sharing across teams.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience supporting or conducting GCP audits and inspections.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred

  • Regulatory Affairs Certification or Quality Auditor Certification.
  • Experience working in regulated research or healthcare consulting environments.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below. Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
