We are seeking a Demand Planner for a 7-month hybrid engagement in Beaverton, OR. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping product availability and market strategy, directly influencing the success of key product categories across a major market segment. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise to ensure optimal product flow, directly impacting sales and consumer satisfaction within a critical market. You'll dive deep into market trends and data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust forecasts that drive business decisions. Your work will directly support strategic planning and operational efficiency, making a tangible impact on product availability and market performance.

Responsibiities



  • Develop and manage detailed demand forecasts for a key product category within a major market segment.
  • Analyze market data, sales trends, and consumer insights to refine forecasting models and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, sales, and merchandising teams to align forecasts with overarching business objectives.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate challenges and capitalize on growth.
  • Present forecasting insights and strategies to diverse stakeholders, influencing critical business decisions and driving consensus.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, working alongside peers and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals.


Qualfications



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a demand planning or forecasting role.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel for advanced data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with forecasting and planning methodologies.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for various audiences.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management and a highly collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A degree is preferred, though practical experience and proven capability are highly valued.
  • Experience with specialized planning tools is a nice-to-have.
  • Prior experience working with large, globally recognized consumer brands is a nice-to-have.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.80 to $45.33 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
