**The Opportunity:**

We are seeking a dedicated and impactful HR professional to serve as the primary on-site human resources support for a critical operations team, including both employees and drivers. This role is central to maintaining workforce stability and engagement, ensuring compliance, and fostering a productive environment. You will be the go-to HR expert, providing essential guidance and support that directly contributes to the smooth functioning and continued growth of operations.

**What You'll Do:**

Your work will be pivotal in fostering a positive and compliant workplace. You will:

Lead Employee Relations:Serve as the primary HR contact for operations-assigned drivers and employees, managing all employee relations matters including attendance, performance management, corrective actions, workplace conduct investigations, and conflict resolution. You will ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and provide guidance to operations managers on disciplinary actions and documentation.

Provide Comprehensive HR Support:Manage the full HR lifecycle for operations personnel, from onboarding to transfers, leaves, and offboarding. You will act as a crucial liaison between HR, Operations, Safety, and Payroll teams, addressing employee-specific HR issues.

Coordinate Recruitment & Staffing:Support recruiting activities for operations roles, including drivers and support staff. This involves coordinating interviews, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding logistics, partnering with staffing agencies as needed, and proactively flagging workforce risks to leadership.

Support Payroll & Timekeeping:Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing for operations employees and drivers, reviewing timesheets for compliance, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.

Ensure Policy Implementation & Compliance:Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including applicable employment requirements for transportation. You will support the implementation and enforcement of company HR policies and maintain proper employee documentation in HR systems.

Maintain On-Site HR Presence:Establish a consistent on-site HR presence within the operations facility, building strong working relationships with operations leadership to provide HR guidance aligned with both HR standards and operational realities.

Report & Document:Maintain accurate employee records and case documentation, prepare regular HR status updates, and promptly escalate sensitive or high-risk issues to senior HR leadership.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

* 5+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or operations-heavy environments.

* Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.

* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Experience supporting hourly, non-exempt, and driver workforces.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Language Requirements: Korean biligual - preferred but not required

* Experience supporting driver populations (CDL).

* Familiarity with regulatory environments related to employment.

* On-site HR experience within a warehouse, terminal, or operations setting.

* Experience using HRIS/ATS platforms.
