USA Tennis is USTA's newly expanded division-including USTA's Player Development, Pro Circuit, Collegiate, Junior Competition, and International Team Events - with the goal of developing both elite junior and professional players.

In upcoming months, USA Tennis will be focusing on finalizing and operationalizing strategy to optimize all elements of the developmental pathway. In addition, we will be looking to enable the ecosystem in creating conditions to develop new American champions. You will be working directly with USA Tennis leadership on variety of responsibilities including:

* Operationalize 3 year strategy and develop strategic plans; lead cross-functional effort across USA Tennis, wider USTA, and external stakeholders
* Perform quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to create analytical insights to identify recommendations and opportunities; package those into effective communication, and use them to inform critical decisions
* Develop, track, and analyze metrics of measuring USA Tennis success
* Synthesize and communicate strategy, budget, and operational plan for board level presentation
* Support USA Tennis leadership as needed

Program details:
    8-week program from June 9 through August 11
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ET
  • Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Times Square office.
  • Compensation: $35.00 per hour
Who You Are
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate program (MBA, MPP, MS, MA, or equivalent) in Business, Strategy, Economics, Public Policy, Sports Management, Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong academic standing with coursework in strategy, analytics, finance, or organizational management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to support strategy development and operational execution, including translating high-level strategy into actionable plans
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, including data analysis, market research, stakeholder interviews, and synthesis of insights
  • Experience developing KPIs, performance dashboards, or success metrics to track organizational or program outcomes
  • Ability to identify opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and formulate data-driven recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials
  • Ability to synthesize complex strategy, budget, and operational concepts into clear, compelling board-ready presentations
  • Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrixed environments
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive alignment and execution
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability when supporting senior leadership
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Interest in Sports & Development
  • Strong interest in elite athlete development, sports strategy, or national governing bodies
