Job Description:
- Provide day-to-day legal counsel on a wide range of employment-related matters, including hiring, discipline, performance management, accommodations, leave issues, terminations, separations, agency audits, unions, SCA, and international employment.
- Manage and oversee employment litigation, including strategy development, case management, coordination with outside counsel, and reporting to leadership.
- Represent Credence and our interests to opposing counsel.
- Draft, review, and update employment-related policies, procedures, handbooks, and training materials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and promote best practices in employment law compliance.
- Conduct or support internal training on employment law topics for HR, management, and staff.
- Assist Contracts and Legal staff with government and commercial contracts, including:
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal regulations, FAR/DFARS guidelines, company policies, and contractual obligations. Monitor potential risks related to contract terms and conditions and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Leading and/or providing guidance on negotiations with customers and partners.
- Drafting and reviewing terms and conditions; communicating contract requirements to operations teams; managing contract changes.
- Negotiating nondisclosure, teaming, consulting, subcontract, and license agreements.
- Analyzes RFPs, solicitations, and contracts terms and conditions as required.

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Member must be in good standing with the State Bar in VA or DC.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong focus on employment and labor related matters
- Must have a minimum of 5 years in advising federal government contractor clients.
- Significant experience handling employment litigation and administrative agency matters.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide clear and practical legal advice to non-lawyers.
