The System Vice President for Patient Safety and Quality is a senior executive leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies that ensure the highest standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance across the health system. This role drives a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and excellence in care delivery, aligning with organizational goals and national best practices. This role is responsible for administrative oversight, collaboration, coordination, and management of system-wide patient safety, and quality including: risk management, infection prevention, performance management and analytics, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and medical staff service/peer review. Position: System Vice President Patient Safety & Quality Shift: Day Experience: Minimum 10 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare, including complex project management and strategic planning in the healthcare environment, preferably in healthcare system. 3 to 5 years Clinical practice experience required. Minimum 5 years operational experience with a focus on stakeholder value, hospital operations, performance improvement and quality in a healthcare system. Education: BSN Required, Master's Degree preferred in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field Licensures/Certifications: Preferred Certifications - Six Sigma Black Belt Employee Status: Regular Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Job Grade: 930 | |
