Position Overview

This role will be hybrid onsite for 3 days & 2 days remotely based in Denver, Colorado.

The Contract Analyst provides excellent attention to detail, proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to all matters. The Contract Analyst works closely with the Legal, Construction and Finance departments to review and analyze construction contracts, vendor contracts, and work authorizations prior to finalization. The Contract Analyst is a collaborative team player who embodies our core values, contributes to a positive workplace culture, communicates with professionalism, and excels in managing a high-volume, fast-paced workload with shifting priorities.

Essential Job Functions

Contract Review & Validation:

  • Review and analyze commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, proposals, and other related documents for validation prior to the issuance of a contract.

  • Review scopes of work for conflicts with executed agreements.

Work Authorization Management:

  • Assist with preparation and execution of work authorizations (project authorizations, statements of work, and service orders), ensuring that work authorizations are accurate, consistent with executed contracts, and mitigate risks for the Company.

  • Work closely with Construction and Finance departments to facilitate timely execution of work authorizations.

Contract Facilitation & Compliance:

  • Facilitate contracts process and act as point person for the Legal Department.

  • Facilitate SharePoint or other contract management process flow for contracts.

  • Work with other departments within Vantage to update compliance processes to work more efficiently.

Teamwork Collaboration:

  • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and work effectively with stakeholders across functions to achieve shared goals.

  • Actively contribute to a supportive, solutions-oriented team environment.

  • Build strong working relationships and communicate in a respectful, professional manner.

Support of the Business & the Team:

  • Serve as a liaison between several departments within Vantage for legal, contract, financial, compliance items.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to support team members and broader business objectives, including providing support and training for contract requestors.

  • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and work effectively with colleagues across functions to achieve shared goals.

  • Analyze vendor quotes and change order requests for accuracy and alignment with contract terms.

  • Approach challenges with a service-oriented mindset and a commitment to advancing team priorities.

Reporting & Tracking:

  • Prepare reports as needed to track progress of contract documents.

  • Administer and track workflow of contracts to make sure all are fully executed.

Onboarding Support:

  • Issue, collect, and update onboarding procedures and documentations.

Additional Duties:

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management and miscellaneous special projects to support team members and/or requested by team attorneys.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Paralegal certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years experience in a contract administration or contract analyst role.

  • Experience using enterprise resource planning or contract management software.

  • Experience in the construction industry.

  • Experience working in Ironclad is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal and technical documents

  • Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills that enable the candidate to balance multiple responsibilities at once and consistently meet tight deadlines

  • Maintain professionalism under pressure and handle competing demands with composure

  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous growth and improvement

  • Expertise in working with Ironclad, Microsoft applications, DocuSign, SharePoint

  • Impeccable integrity, credibility, character and ethics

  • Travel is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $73,000 - 78,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
