OVERVIEW

The Millwright works under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor to make sure equipment is in their assigned area is kept in top running condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for providing maintenance services through the refinery.
• Performs mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance services, including; troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, rigging, metal fabrication and repairs (welding/burning), pipe installation and repairs, and building crafts work.
• Perform cleaning and lubrication on mechanical equipment.
• Work with other refinery maintenance and operations personnel to handle normal everyday problems.
• Will be assigned to one of the maintenance groups, which include: refinery maintenance, warehouse, pipe/metal, building crafts, garage and raw sugar maintenance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts and weekends on a regular basis
• Have a high regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others.
• Ability to perform tasks wearing required PPE such as protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a unionized environment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• At least 1yearof experience in industrial maintenance or service organization

HOURLY RATE $40.99 per hour

• The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's qualificationsand prior experience.
