Utility Pipe Layer

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

• Perform daily equipment inspections as needed
• Operate all heavy equipment as needed
• Ensure trenching equipment is set correctly and safely climb in and out of trench box
• Correctly install sanitary sewer, water and stormwater pipe at proper specification and assist in manual operations of crew
• Communicate and work with others in a high stress environment
• Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including; standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and raking
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications;

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver's license but a CDL is a preferred
• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background
