Summary: The Law Division provides legal counsel to MWRA's Board of Directors, Executive Director and staff. Law Division attorneys represent the MWRA in litigation before the federal and state courts and in administrative hearings before federal and state agencies. Law Division attorneys also handle matters in a variety of legal areas including real estate, environmental, energy, labor and employment, public procurement and construction, contracts, state ethics, open meeting law and public records. MWRA's Law Division is seeking a qualified candidate for a 2026 internship position. The intern will be supervised by Law Division attorneys for assigned work. Posting Period: 1/21/2026 to 2/3/2026 Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include conducting legal research, reviewing, analyzing and summarizing federal, state and local legislation, laws and regulations and case law, drafting memoranda, pleadings, court filings and briefs, summarizing legal findings and other related duties as required. Attending hearings with Law Division attorneys may also be part of the internship. Required Qualifications
