We are seeking a Logistics Management Specialist for Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Division, specializing in Depot Production Data Analytics, Naval Message Traffic, and Integrated Product Support (IPS) for the ALQ-249 Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) Fleet Support Team (FST).

Duties:



  • Analyzes AEA Depot Production Control data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities across all portfolios to AEA Systems Division management.
  • Develops and recommends data-driven production priorities to optimize workflow and resource allocation within the AEA Depot branches.
  • Identifies and recommends strategic reallocation of AEA Depot capabilities that can be fielded to the fleet's Intermediate and/or Organizational levels to enhance repair turnaround times and mission readiness.
  • Drafts, generates, and reviews Naval Message Traffic within the AEA Systems Division, ensuring messages are accurately formatted and processed for distribution.
  • Serves as a logistics advisor, providing direct support to the ALQ-249 FST Task Lead, FST IPS/Logistics Lead, and the PMA-234 Product Support Integrated Product Team (IPT).
  • Ensures ALQ-249 supportability products are in accordance with 4790.2E Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
  • Reviews and ensures updates of ALQ-249 Maintenance Planning products, Provisioning Requirements, Maintenance Requirements Card (MRC), Periodic Maintenance Identification Card (PMIC), technical manuals (IETMs), and other engineering and logistics technical data (drawings, technical engineering instructions, SOPs, etc.).
  • Provides product support inputs on ALQ-249 Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives (TDs). Ensures TDs meet format and content requirements of NAVAIR SOP 00-25-300, assists with overall TD development, and shepherds them through final approval with AEA Division, PMA-234, and fleet stakeholders.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and comments on ALQ-249 Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) from prime and sub contractor Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure program and NAMP compliance.
  • Supports ALQ-249 organic depot standup efforts, ensuring appropriate equipment is identified, acquired, fielded, and sustained.
  • Coordinates with NAWCAD Lakehurst on Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) submissions and updates to facilitate proper equipment fielding and sustainment of ALQ-249.
  • Responds to fleet requests for ALQ-249 engineering or technical data, coordinating the timely and authorized fleet release of data.
  • Participates in and often leads discussions during weekly and bi-weekly program telecoms and meetings.
  • Briefs program status and logistics updates to leadership, including the ALQ-249 FST, AEA Systems Division Management, PMA-234 Product Support, and fleet representatives.


Required Education:



  • High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.


Required Experience:



  • 7+ years of experience in DoD logistics or ILS management.
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle, sustainment planning, and logistics directives (e.g., DoDI 5000 series).
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical data, maintenance records, and forecasting tools and in developing logistics documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary technical teams.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Naval Aviation systems, particularly EW platforms and subsystems.
  • Familiarity with ALQ-218(V)2, ALQ-99, and/or ALQ-240(V)1 systems.
  • DAWIA certification in Life Cycle Logistics or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • NAVAIR or Naval Aviation logistics experience.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
