The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. The Emergency Call Taker 1 is responsible for answering and processing emergency, non-emergency and administrative calls in a timely and professional manner. Under the direction of the Communications Supervisor, this position is accountable for receiving requests for service, inputting the information into a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, and properly triaging call through the Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS). Standard of performance is limited to the use of the knowledge, skills and techniques within the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) Guidelines and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Mobile Health policies. | |
