AS400 Developer

Responsibilities:

• Member of support team working
  
  
  
  • Help desk tickets solving user issues
  • Break fixes
  • Occasional software enhancements
  
  
  
  
• Support transitional efforts from AS400 to .Net environments
• Execute periodic tasks:
  
  
  
  • File upload/download
  • Yearend budget/financial rollovers
  
  
  
  
• Document existing processes to support software conversion efforts

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years working in an AS400 software development environment
• Minimum of 5 years working with COBOL/400 developing and implementing applications
• Minimum of 5 years working with AS400/CL developing and implementing applications
• Minimum of 5 years working with AS400/DDS developing and implementing applications
• Minimum of 5 years working with IBM DB2/SQL developing and implementing applications
• Minimum of 5 years working as a Business Analyst
• Minimum of 3 years working with Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, Visio

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently, be flexible and work several projects simultaneously
• Must be action oriented; Taking ownership of new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Customer Service Focused

Experience a plus:

• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with Peoplesoft or other Financial systems
• PeopleSoft development tools
• .Net development
• JAVA and PHP developing and implementing applications in a Web environment
