The COAM Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing all field service operations, personnel, warehouse operations, and logistics management. This position reports directly to the General Manager and works in coordination with the Director of COAM Services.

Education, Training and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent field service management experience. Associate degree with 3+ years relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in supervision of field service operations, warehouse operations, inventory control, and/or logistics management.
  • Experience supervising, scheduling, and dispatching a field service team.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory tracking, fleet management including ICC/DOT compliance, and purchasing/replenishment processes.
  • Leadership experience in union and non-union businesses.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Driving record must be free of DUI/DWI for three-year period prior to employment.
  • Must be able to distinguish between far, near, peripheral distances.

Equipment

Equipment used includes large truck operation, electronic repair tools/equipment, warehouse management equipment such as forklifts, PC hardware, cabling, two-way VSAT IP-based communications, and others as required by the job.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven knowledge of leadership principles and practices of positive employee relations.
  • PC hardware, cabling, two-way VSAT IP-based communications, Windows and Linux operating systems, and Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Ability to review the work product of others to ensure conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Ability to manage a workforce of up to 20 service technicians including daily scheduling and dispatch.
  • Ability to work with customers directly to schedule and dispatch service calls.
  • Ability to quickly analyze, prioritize and resolve technical and logistical problems.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, control expense, and manage major projects within budget and to completion.
  • Must possess strong initiative, decision-making and prioritization skills, along with the ability to direct the efforts of assigned personnel properly under time-critical and/or changing workloads.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety matters.
  • Experience with electronic equipment bench repair preferred.
  • Team oriented approach in dealing with both internal and customer personnel.
  • Must successfully complete a MVR, drug, criminal, and credit background investigation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager and in coordination with the Director of COAM Services, performs the following duties and responsibilities. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

Field Service Operations:

  • Train field service technicians on proper procedures and techniques required to perform their individual duties.
  • Work directly with customers to schedule their service requests within our defined SLA's.
  • Field service scheduling, dispatching, monitoring and management.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians and customers.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations:

  • Manage and direct bench repair operations for all associated equipment to include gaming terminals, peripherals, ancillary equipment, VSAT communications components, and cabling systems.
  • Manage and direct proper supply, spare part and/or replacement equipment inventory levels to meet varying business demands along with detailed inventory level, usage rate, and replenishment order processes.
  • Manage and direct field remote warehouse replenishment and retailer vending equipment movement operations requiring scheduling, expediting, and equipment tracking tasks utilizing available truck and driver/helper resources.
  • Coordinate and interact effectively with site management, corporate management, and customer representatives to best achieve overall company goals and contract requirements.
  • Devise, adjust, and maintain required tracking and reporting processes for all assigned responsibilities as needed to ensure proper operational effectiveness and to support management/customer oversight.
  • Manage and maintain fleet-related tasks to include vehicle inventory, maintenance, repairs, licensing/registration, ICC/DOT requirement compliance, and vehicle telematics equipment.
  • Coordinate, prepare, ship, and setup support of equipment required to enable testing, demonstration, trade show and other special projects/events - local and remote.
  • Assist where needed in the joint support, repair, and maintenance of facility-related issues - leasehold maintenance, security, environmental support, and general repairs.

Security Requirements

Submission to, and ability to pass, a thorough pre-employment background check by the required State Lottery and Intralot USA is a requirement of employment. A pre-employment drug screening is also a requirement.
