Why us, why now?

Manages projects within the team's portfolio, mainly operational in nature. Leads a scrum team including all core Agile activities and engagement with product owners and colleagues from other teams. Manages requests from other teams or customers, including support for broader IT initiatives impacting the team. Coordinates business event support and preparation.

How will you make an impact?

Technical Delivery Management:

  • Create a cadence for completing operational releases following Agile practices. Develop a backlog in collaboration with customers and IT to maintain software releases in production. Set the cadence for all related Scrum ceremonies using approved software.

  • Coordinate all related meetings including daily scrum meetings, backlog refinement, and all kickoffs, planning, and closing of sprints.

  • All staff, onshore or offshore, should understand their responsibilities and assignments at the start of each sprint. Coordinate and ensure that all software built is properly tested through each environment.

  • Collaborate with QA, Performance Test, and Security tohelp facilitate all work in this area. Work with our CAB and customers to coordinate the release dates of our software.

  • Coordinate with other teams to manage integrations with our service catalog to help support their goals.

  • Maintain contract management withexternal partners/vendors. Escalate issues as needed to ensure issues are resolved based on SLAs.

Project Management:

  • Create project requests following the policies and procedures governing the process. As part of the project request, include all necessary resourcing and budget estimates. Ensure all interested parties are kept updated on the progress throughout the life of the project.

  • Serve as an escalation point for leadership and when collaborating with other units.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation (e.g., project management plans, meeting agendas, action items, issue logs, risk mitigation plans, financial reports), ensuring adherence to project management standards.

  • Manage risk proactively, maintain runbooks, and ensure operational readiness for smooth releases.

  • Triage, track, and resolve project and production issues, enabling quick response and resolution for customers.

  • Support migrations, infrastructure changes, and testing runs in coordination with internal and third-party partners.

  • Provide sign-off for critical testing and ensures readiness for deployment.

Collaboration:

  • Establish a collaborative working environment among Business Partners, IT Teams, and Strategic Implementation Partners by working on planning, design, and technology initiatives together.

  • Manage project implementation team; create an internal environment of teamwork, sharing, enthusiasm and mutual respect. Nurture and support a strong engineering culture.

  • Provide support to the development team by facilitating and encouraging teamwork amongst dependent IT teams.

Planning:

  • Collaborate with Business partners, Security, and vendors (as necessary) to plan and implement shared capabilities that support strategic enterprise initiatives.

  • Develop a practical roadmap to implement support of enterprise initiatives.

  • Work with Enterprise Architecture and other groups as necessary to ensure that application architectures are implemented as intended.

  • Informs annual budget requests and tracking to ensure the team has resources necessary to achieve our goals.

What will you bring to the role?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 5-7 years of related work experience

  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum, DevSecOps, and SDLC in cloud environments.

  • Experience with performance/load testing, production support, and enterprise-scale operations.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and monitoring tools.

  • Familiarity with relational databases.

  • Hands-on experience coordinating testing (QA, UAT, performance) and deployment readiness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional software delivery projects in an Agile environment.

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale, mission-critical events with high operational risk.

  • Knowledge of performance/load testing process and proactive monitoring practices.

  • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

  • Strong collaboration history with security, infrastructure, and data teams to deliver aligned solutions.

  • Experience managing strategic partners/vendors or onsite/offshore delivery teams.

    Certifications: Project Management Professional - PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

    This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US

    Compensation Grade Range

    $115,855.00-$136,300.00

    Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

    If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
