Join us on a mission to design and operationalize global standards for Maersk Ground Freight-driving efficiency, visibility, and customer value through process excellence, data-driven decision-making, and crossregional alignment.

As a Senior Process Transformation Professional, you will play a key role in defining the next generation of Maersk's operational processes. Working directly with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies, you will influence how we operate at scale, champion continuous improvement, and ensure our global teams are equipped to deliver consistent, worldclass service.

This is a high-impact individual contributor (IC) role. Success requires a strong ability to navigate the Maersk organization, influence without authority, and translate complex operational challenges into actionable process solutions.

Responsibilities Assess
  • Understand, map, and document current ("asis") processes, capturing endtoend flows and critical operational metrics.
  • Conduct process capability studies to identify improvement opportunities, analyze root causes, and prioritize interventions based on value, feasibility, and risk.
Define
  • Design and map future-state ("tobe") processes aligned with business strategy and customer outcomes.
  • Prioritize technology development needs in accordance with process designs and long-term operational goals.
  • Develop clear, structured roadmaps to transition from current processes to future-state models.
  • Identify automation opportunities, including digital workflows, RPA, and intelligent solutions that streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
Land
  • Develop high-quality SOPs, training materials, and knowledge assets to support global rollout.
  • Work closely with regional teams to embed new processes, ensuring smooth adoption and governance.
  • Build and nurture a global community of process experts and site leaders to drive consistent implementation.
  • Monitor key metrics, track performance improvements, and take corrective actions where needed.
Other Key Responsibilities
  • Drive closure of audit items and proactively address operational risks.
  • Own and maintain a structured knowledge repository to ensure easy access and global reuse.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to identify opportunities, run structured improvement projects, and strengthen overall capabilities.
  • Contribute to broader team goals and strategic initiatives as required.
Who You Are
  • 10+ years in process management, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Process Engineer, Management Consultant, or Change Management professional.
  • Strong background in continuous process improvement; experience with data reporting is an advantage.
  • Foundational experience in trucking operations, supply chain logistics, warehousing, or frontline operational environments.
  • Ability to connect detailed operational processes to meaningful business and customer outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical thinking, including:
    • Translating complex business requirements into clear and structured narratives.
    • Applying data-driven methodologies to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels and regions.
  • Strong presentation and narrative-building skills with the ability to articulate logic and impact clearly.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives independently while operating effectively in a global environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (20-30%).
Preferred / Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience with AI, automation, or digitally enabled process optimization.
  • Green belt/Black belt six sigma certification
  • Exposure to trucking or e-commerce operational roles is a strong advantage.

Pay Range:

$187,000 - $200,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
