Iridium is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer II to join our Government Programs Solutions Engineering Team on a Space Development Agency (SDA) project. As a Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer, you will work on the high-fidelity physics-based and requirements-based modeling for analysis of space and ground network systems. You will use state-of-the-art simulation tools and data-driven analysis to support system design, integration, testing, operations, and troubleshooting. This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. For in-person meetings, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
