Position Title: Maintenance Technician

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in Bartlett, IL. This is a direct hire position for 1st or 2nd shift. Apply today! Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Read and interpret electrical schematics ranging from low voltage to 480V- 3 phase - Understand and interpret mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics - Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, assembly instructions, troubleshooting guides and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues - Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including CNC equipment and PLCs - Use various electrical testing devices and programming equipment to perform general electrical repairs - Participate in the continuous improvement process and collaborate with team members in problem solving meetings - Assist in requisition of all spare and repair parts to maintain inventory at a desired level to minimize machine downtime - Support equipment installations and removals - Record repairs and maintenance performed in a computerized maintenance management system Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - Experienced with Lock Out / Tag Out techniques - Able to effectively communicate with production supervisors and machine operators QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
