Position Title: Packaging
Wage: $17.91 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Packaging position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Packaging Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Machine loading & labeling. - Bagging & scaling. - Boxing & palletizing. - Cutting (may use a small paring knife). - Sanitation duties as required (chemical use, cleaning methods, and safety requirements/rules). - Required to report unsafe conditions or practices to Plant Management. - Must follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). - Some positions require the use of powered pallet lift trucks. - Ability to operate many different types of packaging line related machines; mainly tapers, cutters, labelers and scales. Packaging Requirements: - Ability to stand and walk with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting throughout shift. - This position can frequently involve repetitive lifting of up to 40 lbs. (depending on line position). - This job occasionally involves being on knees inspecting and cleaning undersides of equipment or up on ladders. - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. - The physical plant environment is clean but sometimes cool, wet, and moderately noisy. - Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
