Duties and responsibilities:

  • Uses computer assisted design/drafting with emphasis on structural drafting using Revit
  • Uses ACAD (Autodesk), Civil 3D, and/or Microstation equipment and software to draft designs
  • Creates and revises production drawings (detail and assembly drawings)
  • Makes final sketch of proposed drawings, checking dimensions, materials, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project
  • Utilizes knowledge of various engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings
  • Utilizes skills necessary to read blueprints, create 3-dimensional models, assemblies, and working drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Drafting/Design with 0-2 years of experience
  • Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D and MicroStation
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800 -171
  • Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire

Physical requirements:

Work is generally performed in an office or client office setting. Ability to use standard office equipment is required. Travel will be required.
