The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The School of Nursing seeks one Columbia University student to assist with secondary analysis of the MIGHTy-Heart study dataset, a federally funded research project comparing mobile integrated health versus transitions of care coordination for heart failure patients. This position will support data cleaning, organization, and machine learning analysis to identify patients most likely to benefit from the intervention. The student will work with multimodal data including electronic health records, patient reported outcomes, and claims data. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Cleaning and organizing multimodal datasets including EHR data, patient reported outcomes, and claims data * Conducting statistical analyses and data visualizations * Maintaining documentation of analytical methods and findings * Engaging with clinical stakeholders to understand decision support tool use cases and workflow requirements * Assist in designing and assessing feasibility of clinical decision support tools for Epic integration based on stakeholder input and research aims * Participating in research meetings * Performing other related duties as assigned This is a temporary position with a flexible work schedule. This is a grant funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant Minimum Qualifications
