Position Summary:
TheCustomerManagerwillrepresentBimbo BakeriesUSA, across all brands. This position willbe responsible forthe sales and profit of all BBU products within assignedCustomers.This position willalsobe responsible formanaging corporate sellingefforts;including promotional strategies,new items, displays, marketinginitiatives.This position will berequiredto build andmaintainsolid business relationships with all decision makers within theCustomeras well as with internal business unit partners.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all BBU safety programs promoted by the organization.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all associates through safety programs promoted by the organization.
  • Responsible for overallsalesofall BBU company products in Roundy's Wisconsin, Roundy'sChicagoand Michigan Kroger Divisions
  • Provide leadership and direction for all assignedCustomeractivitiesserving as a liaison betweenCustomerteam and Sales Operations organization.
  • Provide strategic direction and plans for assignedCustomerswith the intension of positivelyimpactingandinfluencingBBU's short and long-term strategic priorities, with a specific focus on growing share andoptimizingtrade dollars.
  • Responsible for anyheadquarterand member/group level business reviews with assignedCustomers.
  • Conveytimelycontracts, incentiveprogramsand marketing initiatives, andmaintainup-to-date customer pricing files both internally via BBU's systemsand withwithinCustomers'systems.
  • Garner competitiveintel and develop action items that bring about overall improvement to BBU strategic brand portfolio.
  • Responsible for pre and post analysisonall promotions, in tandem withCustomerPlanning team, toidentifyand correct missed opportunities.
  • Work withCustomer Planningteam to create annual customer budgets and manage overall customer spend including, but not limited to, temporary pricing changes, promotional activity, marketing programs, marketing contracts, display execution, category management, thusoptimizingtotal trade spend.
  • Full year projection and volume forecast accuracy
  • Develop and present business plans toattainsustainable growth and achieve true profitsonan as-directed cadence.
  • Responsiblefor cultivating andmaintaininglong-termproductiverelationships with all retail customers assigned.
  • Represent the company professionally during customer interaction and business activities.

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business-related field preferred.A combination of education,trainingand experience that results indemonstratedcompetency to perform the work may be substituted.
Idealcandidate willpossess:
  • 5-7years of related experience in customer relations or sales.CPG/DSD experience ispreferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • At least 6monthsexperience leading and influencing others.
  • A combination of training and experience that results indemonstratedcompetency to perform the work may be substituted.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Computer skills andproficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, SharePoint andOutlookisrequired.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus.
  • Must have strong analytical skills including financial reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of sales processes and procedures, space managementprogramsand DSD operations.
  • P&L, business analysis & merchandising experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Market6, 84.51, IRI, and margin miner a plus.
  • Travel Required50%or as needed across the country.
Physical Demands:
  • Able to use a variety of communication methods onfrequentbasis.
  • Use a notebook computer and standard office equipment printers, fax, phone etc.
  • Able to sit, stand, stoop and have use of hand motor coordination regularly.
  • Use various forms of transportation for extended periods of time onperiodicbasis.
