The Virtual Design and Construction Drafter (VDC Tech) is responsible for creating models and/or drawing sets using the standards that Interstates has established. A Virtual Design and Construction Drafter collaborates with others to learn best practices and incorporates design decisions into deliverables. Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or an applicable associate degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical college is required. Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in a virtual design, construction, or related technical field are preferred. A combination of relevant education and hands-on experience will also be considered in place of formal education requirements. Ideal candidates will have foundational experience with virtual modeling software, construction documentation, or technical design applications that support virtual design and construction processes. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Travel should not exceed 15%. Compensation: The pay range for this position is $68,000 to $93,500+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
