Booking monthend journal entries and ensuring accuracy in plantlevel financial records. Analyzing monthend results and providing commentary to Corporate Accounting. Supporting plant managers by translating financial data into clear, actionable insights. Managing cost accounting activities, including overhead and labor rate analysis. Researching and resolving issues related to invoices, payments, or other plantrelated financial questions. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with relevant accounting coursework. Experience with costing and/or booking entries in a plant or manufacturing environment. Foundational bookkeeping experience, with the ability to ensure accuracy and correct errors. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Ability to collect and translate financial data into clear and actionable insights. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience in public accounting. CPA or other relevant professional certification. Experience using SAP or similar ERP financial systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and explain variances. Comfort working in a manufacturing or plant environment and partnering with operations. Ability to stay organized, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
