Work brings deeper motivation, purpose, and fulfillment to our lives. As a Sales Market Manager, you will act as the "quarterback" for the Minneapolis market-bringing together internal partners, dealer teams, and clients to drive growth and strengthen Steelcase's presence in the region.

Primary Job Duties & Role Objectives

-Serve as the primary Steelcase market leader and trusted partner to dealers, collaborating on business development strategy and execution-Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and market influencers through consistent inmarket engagement

-Provide leadership and coordination across CBM, ADM, and vertical market partners (e.g., healthcare, education)

-Set aligned goals with dealers and internal teams, and drive disciplined execution against those plans

-Navigate and resolve conflict constructively, fostering trust and collaboration across diverse stakeholders

-Contribute to a highperforming, teambased culture grounded in creativity, productivity, commitment, and collaboration

(Role time allocation is approximately 60% external client/influencer facing, 20% dealer collaboration, and 20% internal partnership.)

Minimum Qualifications

-Experience in businesstobusiness sales with demonstrated expertise in the contract furniture, built environment, or commercial interiors industry

-Proven ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders

-Strong communication, relationshipbuilding, and influencing skills across varied audiences

Desired Skills and Experience

-Experience working within a dealerbased or partnerled sales model

-Ability to lead through influence in matrixed or collaborative environments

-Demonstrated leadership presence, including the ability to command a room and inspire confidence

-Desire to work in, and contribute to, a true teambased selling culture
