Position Overview

As an FBI Security Assistant (Entry Level), you will support the FBI Security Program by completing administrative and analytical tasks that contribute to security operations, reporting, and assessments. This role includes managing logs, supporting audits, conducting research, and assisting with documentation review to help identify potential security vulnerabilities and investigative leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the FBI Security Program through administrative and analytical tasks
  • Manage security logs and assist with security audits
  • Conduct research on complex security issues and contribute to personal security assessments
  • Perform routine office administrative support functions
  • Critically review and analyze incoming material and investigative reports to identify potential security vulnerabilities and viable investigative leads

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer service experience
  • Experience performing routine office administrative support functions
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to review and assess investigative reports and related documentation
  • Ability to use the internet to conduct research and/or open-source checks in support of investigations
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (Full Scope) required
