Position Overview

As an FBI Personnel Security Specialist (Senior Level), you will play a critical role in safeguarding national security by conducting and overseeing personnel security investigations, analyzing complex security information, and identifying potential security vulnerabilities. This role requires strong investigative judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to provide clear recommendations in support of mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee personnel security investigations
  • Apply technical expertise as an investigator and/or adjudicator
  • Analyze complex security information to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations
  • Support security program execution and ensure requirements are met
  • Potentially manage security programs and personnel as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ten (10) years of experience in federal law enforcement OR fifteen (15) years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field
  • Alternative: Associate's degree with twelve (12) years of experience in federal law enforcement OR seventeen (17) years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field (must be approved by the CO of the Order)
  • Technical training/certification as an investigator and/or adjudicator is required
  • Prior security management experience preferred
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (Full Scope) required
