Location: Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid)

Pay Range: $50-60/hr.

Butler America Aerospace is seeking a Contracts Manager for a 6-month contract hybrid opportunity based in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Contract Manager in a dynamic environment with a proven track record of keeping attention to detail as a priority.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage Vendor and Client relationships for commercial goods
  • Manage the close-out process for Commercial Agreements (uploading contracts, following up with stakeholders, drawing up paperwork, following workflows, etc.)
  • Leading Standard Introduction contracts/agreement into include: NDA, Teaming Agreements, PIAs, and other business agreements
  • Identify, review and address contract information and administration issues
  • Review, analyze and conduct risk assessment of contract terms and conditions and develop negotiation plans
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Experience with Contractual Terms and Conditions negotiations
  • Provide contract advice to and work with various functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc.)
  • Work with the International Trade Compliance (ITC) Department, and others, to ensure strict compliance with applicable Import/Export Laws as required



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Contracts Management
  • Experience negotiating U.S. Government (as a prime and sub) and commercial contracts
  • Strong working knowledge of all phases of contracting lifecycle - pursuit, bid, proposals, negotiations, award, execution, and closeout
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple contract negotiation or close outs with exacting detail
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external
