The Construction Engineering Services Practice is seeking an Intern in Salem, OR.

• Coordinate, perform, and observe technical engineering work in the field or office.
• Inspect, observe and ensure a construction project is constructed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily record of the work (labor, equipment, materials, quantities).
• Identify contract change orders and assist in their preparation/implementation.
• Communicate effectively with the Contractors, Owners, Construction Manager, Project Documentation Engineer, or other field engineering staff.
• Prepare field note records for progress payments.
• Coordinate for required materials sampling and testing.

• Enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's, master's, or certificate program with coursework applicable to the internship area.
• Interest in gaining practical experience in your field of study and contributing to DEA's mission.
