The Opportunity

Working closely within the supply chain US BU Project Execution and Ops team, the US Operations Business Units (BU), and the supply chain functional teams, this role will create maximum value by focusing resources on value opportunities through collaboration, create aligned objectives with client groups, proactively find innovative solutions to support growth, and adjust service offerings to meet changing business demands.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager of Programs, Operations and Engineering.

What you'll do

  • First point of contact for supply chain-related procedures for operational region supported

  • Acquiring services from third party suppliers for onsite/offsite work at Company's locations and/or facilities

  • Implement regional contract formation, renewal and contract management, assist with preventing contract leakage and maximize agreement usage through client groups

  • Utilize TC Energy's pre-qualified suppliers and/or source new vendors based on client requirements

  • Ensure process compliance with TC Energy's policies and procedures; establishing supply chain management best practices; identify process inefficiencies and provide potential solutions

  • Manage the regional demand planning process

  • Liaison between category management and internal clients

  • Develop trusted partnerships with internal clients through frequent and open dialogue as well as growing rapport with local vendors

  • Assist in the resolution of escalated supplier and invoicing issues

  • Identify and realize opportunities for cost savings and/or avoidance

  • Collaborate with clients to process and analyze client requests for the supply of services; working within supply chain to competitively source required services (RFx)

  • Complete/Assist in Non-Conformance Reporting and supplier score carding when applicable

  • Actively contribute to team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver productivity in line with service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Ensure team compliance with training requirements, work standards, policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • A relevant University degree

  • Minimum of 4 years Supply Chain Management experience specifically in sourcing, contract formation, contract management, and supplier relationship management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work with large volume of transactions within a tight deadline

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Space

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
